How do I remove the Total Foreign Earned Income from the W2 form?

Not sure if I made a mistake but the 141K from Nevada Property 1 is US based, not foreign.

Here's how to add – or remove – a Form 2555 or 2555-EZ from your return:

1. Open your return and search for foreign income (upper right corner).
2. Click Jump to foreign income in the search results.
3. Continue through the foreign income section, answering questions as you go, until you reach the screen Do you want to try and exclude your foreign earned income?
4. Answer No (to remove it), click Continue, and follow any on-screen instructions.

Also, to remove any form from your tax return, follow below:

1. Open your return, if it's not already open.
2. In the upper right corner, click My Account > Tools.
3. In the pop-up window, select Delete a form.
4. Click Delete next to the form or schedule and follow the instructions to remove the form/schedule.

I have deleted the form many times, but when I get to the last step "transmit your returns" an error displays saying that my dates on form 2555 are invalid. When looking at the forms section, the form is not there. If I search for it, I can see it or if I try the "fix errors" it shows up. When I enter dates, the forms appears in the form section. Subsequently deleting the form does nothing but repeat the same process.  I'm filing a 1116, I don't want a foreign Earned Exclusion, I want the foreign tax credit. However, this has been a serious problem almost every year.  If I acknowledge that I have Foreign Earned Income, even though I chose NO under "do you want to try and exclude this income" the form still haunts me and won't go away.  I need help!
