HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!! TT has a software issue with the MN software adding back the federal IRA deduction. Several calls to TT to find out how to handle. MN Department of Revenue says TT has to make the change and not sure how long it take them to do it. Suggest it may be better to file a paper copy - hesitant because I have already purchased the state and federal TT packages. Will TT do this???

Yes. Select your state from this IRS Federal Tax Return list and find the address you need to mail you return to.
Also, when you mail in your prepared tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. It's also a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified USPS. This way you will know when the IRS has received the return.
The IRS asks you wait 4 weeks after you mail your return before looking up your refund at Where's my Refund.
You can also e-file your federal and mail only your state tax return.
I know I can prepare the tax return manually and mail it in. All taxpayers have that option, however, I did pay for both the federal and state software assuming it would be fully usable. I feel that for TT to respond to me to complete the return manally and then mail it in after buying it is a poor response.
