Form 7206 Not Being Added

My spouse and I are filing our taxes jointly using the TurboTax 2025 desktop software. We each own an S-Corp that individually paid for our health insurance and added that amount to our respective W-2s. After entering the W-2s and checking the boxes to qualify for the self-employed health insurance deduction, the software only generated Form 7206 for one of our S-Corps. As a result, the health insurance costs from the second S-Corp are not being added to Schedule 1, Line 17, which is impacting our total deduction. I

I duplicated what you explained and the program generated two form 7206's and deducted the total health insurance. I suggest you revisit your K-1 entries and on the screen that says Self-employed health insurance, make sure you entered Medicare wages that were equal to or more than the health insurance premiums paid.

You were correct.  I re-started the input and found the one box related to health insurance made sure it was  checked. That fixed the issues.

Thank you for your assistance.

One other question. We were assessed an excess advance PTC repayment (Form 8962). Part of the assessment is tax-deductible since it is treated as excess payment for health-care insurance (IRS Publication 974). There are several worksheets that you work through to calculate how much of the PTC can be deducted.  I don't expect you to be an expert related to Publication 974. My question is, based on the worksheet calculation, we are instructed to add the deduction to Schedule 1 Line 17.   How can we do that and still file electronically?

You can file electronically with a self-employed health insurance deduction.  It doesn't effect the filed return in any way to manually adjust the amount that you paid for health insurance to include the amount paid with the tax return.  If you were not self employed the amount would be added to schedule A.

Thanks.  It looks like K1S Addl Info 1 is where I can make the adjustment.
