Form 7202, Credits for Sick Leave and Family Leave for Certain Self-Employed Individuals was only available for tax year 2020 and 2021.
Yes, I knew form 7202 for 2020 and 2021, but I would like to know , in these years, I filed tax with my spouse's W2 and I had 1099 NEC, can I claim credit for 2020 and 2021 in this present time and use my-self for the claim?
I am an independent contractor.
Thanks
@Beautumn Go to this IRS website for information on claiming COVID-19 sick and family leave tax credits under FFCRA - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/new-irs-form-available-for-self-employed-individuals-to-claim-covid-19-...
If you were eligible in either 2020 or 2021 then you will have to file an amended tax return for the specific tax year.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-a...
