If you file with the standard deduction you can only deduct up to $300 in cash donations. You can’t deduct non- cash donations.

Thanks for your response but wrong answer. TurboTax Tech had me copy the number from below the wording for entry 10a. In my case it was $4 ito the box they were asking to provide the corrected value. Problem solved.

Thank you so much for this. I was just on the phone for an hour with turbotax support and they couldn't help me. I was ready to switch to HR Block this year but didn't want to calculate some of the stuff again...
