Earned income tax credit

I didn't want to claim in the Earned Income Tax Credit. I didn't complete that part of the return. I needed the money now, not next month.

You do not get to "opt out" of EIC. If you qualify for it, TurboTax calculates it and automatically adds it to your refund. If you even could take it off, the IRS would put it back on..So, sorry...you are subject to waiting if you are getting EIC.
