Yes. any days in the US regardless of the reason count for the physical presence test. If it is giving you an error for 0 then enter 1.
Part 3 does not ask for number of days, just the date.
Thank you for answering so quickly. Part 3 is asking for the dates, full days in country, number of days in U.S. on business and income earned in U.S. on business.
The error for 0 days on business is coming up. Inputting 1 day (section e) and 0 (section f) under income earned on business I hope isn't contradictory.
If you were only here on leisure, then you should be able to enter 0 days. Did you try leaving it blank?
I can in fact leave those two blank. Perhaps this is the only solution. Any number entered needs to be a minimum of 1 according to the error.
Yes, most times, leaving something blank if it is $0 does the trick. Other times, depending on what it is, you will need to enter 1 or 0. It just depends on what it is and what the error is saying.
