Does it make sense for my Foreign Income to show up as negative if I take the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion?

If your foreign income is less than the FEIE the number will be negative. However you do not get any additional benefit from this negative number. Your FEIE allowed was more than you earned. Income is excluded up to the FEIE amount
