Is there any way to tell what properties were listed as depreciated assets in past? Specifically, if a rental real estate property has been depreciate?

Yes. In TurboTax there are Depreciation and Amortization reports that will show current year and accumulated deprecation for all assets. There are also Asset Worksheets for each asset, that can be printed or viewed as a pdf.
