Go back through those questions. That section was updated recently and there are some difference between the credit last year and this year. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), allows eligible self-employed individuals who, due to COVID-19, are unable to work or telework for reasons relating to their own health or to care for a family member to claim refundable tax credits to offset their federal income tax. The credits are equal to either the qualified sick leave or family leave equivalent amount, depending on circumstances. IRS.gov has instructions to help calculate the qualified sick leave equivalent amount and qualified family leave equivalent amount.
Eligible self-employed individuals will determine their qualified sick and family leave equivalent tax credits with the new IRS Form 7202 on your 2020 Form 1040 for leave taken between April 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020, and on the 2021 Form 1040 for leave taken between January 1, 2021, and March 31, 2021.
The ARP (American Rescue Plan) provides similar credits for periods of leave beginning April 1, 2021, through September 30, 2021.

It depends. The 8915-F form is not available to report the second 1/3 distribution this year. The form has been released by the IRS but it needs to be incorporated into the Turbo Tax program. The Turbo Tax Development team is working diligently to make this available as soon as possible.
Does this include for self employed, last year's
was a 7209 or something like that. Also thank you for responding. I appreciate it.
The Self-Employed Sick Leave Credit is entered into the self-employment section of TurboTax. TurboTax will help calculate the deduction based on your entries.
Thank you, and it does show up next to the credit/deduction just doesn't show up under the refund amount. Did prior to turbo tax updating that section. That's where I'm confused. Lol

In some cases, Part 3 of Form 7202 does not send the credit to the tax form (and sometimes Part 4 doesn't seem to generate Form 7202 to be filed, even though it is sending the credit to Schedule 3). If that is what is happening, you may need to wait for an update in the upcoming weeks.
Hopefully not, I already efiled today cause I have so much going on right now. Federal documents last checked weren't ready. Hopefully it was attached shall see when I get access to look at it.
Credit was in my list along with amount just not showing up with the total refund amount I got back.
When you check, look at Schedule 3, lines 13b and 13h to see if the credit is being applied. And look to see if Form 7202 is part of the tax return.
