I have 2 kids that are dependent under the age of 17, but I noticed it shows the child tax credit line of $1000 instead of $4000 like it shows on my 2023 taxes. Why?

You may have answered incorrectly in MY INFO when you entered their information. If you have already e-filed, you will have to wait until the return has been fully processed and then amend to correct the information you put in MY INFO.
Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number. Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment. If your child was born in 2024 make sure you said he lived with you the whole year. There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support. Say NO to that question.
You should go through the dependent interviews again. It sounds like your kids are not listed as qualifying children, which they need to be for the $2000 credit. If you have answered something incorrect in the interview, it will show them as qualifying other dependents, which is only a $500 credit. Go back through the My Info / Personal Info and Dependent entries carefully.
Yes I have entered all the information correctly , but still not getting the $4000 tax credit .
The “not valid for employment” box was checked for my two kids for some reason. I did not check this box. TurboTax checked it automatically, causing me not to get the child tax credit. I uncheck this box and now I’m getting the child tax credit correctly.
