Some health-related expenses cannot be claimed per IRS rules such as nonprescription supplements, vitamins, over-the-counter medications, toothpaste, and health club memberships. Click here to see this IRS list of common, but nondeductible medical expenses.

You can add contact lens cleaning solution, hearing aid batteries, crutches, and mileage to see your doctor. Click here to see this IRS page on medical expenses to learn more expenses you are allowed to deduct.

Medical expenses are entered, in the Deductions and Credits section, under Medical

Can you write off your gym membership?

Looking for advice on the use of anabolics. Going to reduce fat, increase my power, and increase my muscle mass. I've already found a couple of them like Anadrol and Turinabol. Maybe someone can advise what to choose or something else.

@costaplohov You have come to the wrong place to get advice regarding medical issues.  This is the user forum where we answer questions about tax returns and the use of the tax software.   Over the counter medications are not deductible on your federal tax return.
