The Home Energy Credits are not dependent on you using either the Standard or Itemized Deductions.

Can home energy credit be applied on a return using standard deductions? Or only when itemizing deductions?
The home energy credit is distinct and separate from the standard deduction or itemized deductions.
If you qualify, you can claim the home energy credit regardless of whether you use the standard deduction or not.
