Can an ITIN Taxpayer(s) qualify for the Child Tax Credit? Considering the Child meets all qualifying requirements.

Yes, if you have an ITIN and the child is a US Citizen (or permanent Resident/Green Card Holder) with a Social Security Number, you can potentially qualify for the entire $2000 Child Tax Credit (assuming all other requirement are met).

As xmasbaby pointed out, if the child had an ITIN, the credit would be limited to $500.

Oh--good point--I assumed the child also had only ITIN--maybe the child has SSN.

The child has a SSN & the taxpayer(s) an ITIN (whom have no green card or legal status) but are considered U.S. Resident for tax purposes
