Can a married couple file separately can they both get the standard deduction, not enough deductions to itemize?

I understand the amount for standard deduction, my question is will both husband and wife get the standard deduction if they file separately. Neither will be itemizing.

Yes, if filing as Married Filing Separate (MFS) then both take the standard deduction, or both have to itemize.
