Bonus Depreciation

Why is Turbo Tax not allowing me to choose the MACRS I want and take full bonus as do when I'm using Lacerte. If the options are limited to 179 and regular depreciation I want a refund on this product and I'll go someplace else.

Please clarify if this asset is for your Schedule C business or a Schedule E Rental Property. Also, to what type of asset are you planning to apply Special "Bonus" Depreciation? TurboTax will offer this option if the asset qualifies.

No it didn't. I know which MACRS to use for the items I was trying to list. I've been doing this a long time. Never with Turbo Tax thankfully, but won't make that mistake again. Did it on another product and everything worked fine. I think you should give me a **bleep** refund since I couldn't even file with your software.
