I receive no tangible benefit for dues paid to my local Kiwanis Club and they are used exclusively by the club for charitable projects.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
As a Kiwanian, I know that the annual Dues are paid into an administrative account to pay the annual fees per member and cover other administrative costs.
Only if your club has is a 501(c)(3) and has a separate account for the community activities can the contributions to that account be considered a donation to a charity and you should get a receipt for that donation.
