Are health, dental and vision premiums considered qualified medical expenses?

I paid non-discounted, COBRA rates for all three during ~ 70% of 2021. The total amount paid far exceeds the threshold so I would definitely hope - pray even - that the amount is deductible. If deductible, would it be fully or partially deductible? Is the deductible amount contingent upon income?

I appreciate your answer and am aware of the 7.5% threshold although my question was specific to health care premiums and whether they are fully or partially deductible. I’ve since learned that they are “qualified” AND fully (rather than partially) deductible beyond the threshold. Thanks!

You may deduct only the amount of your total medical expenses that exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income. Health insurance paid out of your pocket is deductible.

Yes, health premiums paid are considered medical expenses and may be clamed in full as ling as they are not reimbursed (as are most medical expenses).

Long term care policies have a yearly limit based on the age of the taxpayer.
