Yes, your a portion of your boat registration fees are deductible if they are based on the boat's value - not its age, size, or some other factor.  You must itemize your deductions to claim it.  Dock fees are not deductible. To enter your deduction in TurboTax, take the following steps:

  • In your open Federal return, choose Deductions & Credits
  • Scroll down to Cars and Other Things You Own and Show more
  • Start or revisit Personal Property Taxes and say Yes
