Wondering why my property taxes is not showing up under my mortgage info? I don't even see where to add it?

I have 3 different lenders to enter because we sold our house last year and bought a new one. On on of my statements I see I paid $1330.18 in property taxes but when I enter all my info into turbo tax I cannot find where to enter that I paid that and it is showing up as zero under property taxes. What am I doing wrong??

Although property taxes paid may be reported on your form 1098, it is entered separately in TurboTax.

In TurboTax, you can enter Property taxes by following these steps:

  • In TurboTax, open your tax return
  • Click on Federal Taxes, then on Deductions & Credits
  • Under All Tax breaks, locate the section Your Home and click on Show more
  • Click Start next to Property (Real estate) Taxes (see attached screenshot).
