After I've transferred my itemized deductions from federal to state how do I go back and transform the 1040 from itemized deduction to standard deduction? Thanks.

TT will automatically choose the larger of itemized or standard deduction for federal.  there's a box to check on the info wks (forms mode) if your just entering itemized for state purposes Part VI
