When it comes to state refunds, if you took the Standard Deduction last year, which most people did, the state refund is not taxable and you needn't even enter the 1099-G.
If you ITEMIZED DEDUCTIONS you would have Schedule A as part of your 2020 Tax Year return. The numbers on that schedule A would be used to determine if the State Refund is taxable.
The numbers on the Schedule A would not have changed because of the adjustment to the Unemployment.
