IRS is rejecting my E-filed return: : Reason: "It appears that you have duplicate 1099 R's." They are withdraws from my individual account and my wife's individual account. The dollar amounts and tax deductions are identical. Account numbers are different. Part of one withdraw is RMD, and reported as such. The other is not and does require RMD. How do I get them to accept return e-file? I know I can mail.

Subtract $0.01 from one of the Form 1099-R's and this should correct the problem of rejecting for identical forms.

Thank you, for quick response. I changed one 1099R by $0.01 resubmitted. It was accepted by IRS.
