1099-NEC

I entered my 1099-NEC under "1099s" and then it asked me to enter it again in the "Schedule C" section - is it double entering my income? Where should I enter my 1099-NEC?  I deleted it under the 1099 section and the Schedule C section seems to calculate correctly.  Maybe?

You are correct, you can enter your Form 1099-NEC directly in the Schedule C section.
You can also enter it into the 1099 section on the main income screen and  it should link to your Schedule C.  Either way is fine and you are right, you do not want to have it duplicated.
