1040 SR line 30 amount

I first didn't answer the stimulus check question correctly. Now I want to make some change and could not find any section showing form 1040 SR line 30 amount. I could not find the questions regarding the stimulus check either. It just does not show up anywhere anymore. Could you let me know which section I should go and how to bring up the stimulus check question again. Thank you

The stimulus questions are asked after completing the Other Tax Situations section and begin in the Federal Review section.

How do I correct the line 30 amount.  I obviously answered a question incorrectly because line 30 is show $3600.  I have already submitted my return electronically but need to go back and correct whatever caused the 3600 to post to line 30.

Since you have already filed your tax return, you will not amend to correct the Recovery Rebate Credit already claimed on your tax return.  The IRS has indicated they will pull these returns and make corrections as needed for returns with the credit calculated erroneously.

They will make the adjustments and send you a notice of adjustment accordingly.  Please see the link below for more information.

To get to the stimulus questions in TurboTax at any time, you can search for stimulus or recovery rebate credit then hit ENTER and there should be a Jump to link

If you are trying to trigger it,

Click on Other Tax Situations at top

Click on Let's get started

Answer some questions then Continue

Then click on Let's keep going

Next screen is for the Third Stimulus, if you qualify

If you did not get prompted to enter your stimulus information, that means you either:

1. Filed as a dependent being claimed on another tax return, or 
2. have an AGI too high to claim the recovery rebate

The Recovery rebate credit on line 30 is only if you didn't get the Stimulus payment or qualify for more.
