You keep asking for a State ID number in box 15 but Kroger does not provide one. Texas does not require a State return, may I just go forward?

I cannot e file due to not having Fred Myers state employee id number. But I live in Washington state and we dont have state taxes. They really need to fix this issue.

Washington does not have a personal income tax so you should not enter anything in boxes 15, 16 and 17.

TurboTax will accept this since 9 states do not have personal income taxes.

If you still receive errors then delete the W-2 and re-enter manually.
