If you are doing this for 2020 make sure the amount on Step one of the Social Secuity Smart worksheet is correctly populating the amouunt. It should be the same value as line 11 of your 1040. On mine it is incorrectly populating Step one with line 9 of the 1040 leading to an incorrect value for the subtraction. I have contacted them but am waiting a resolution.
