I lived in Arizona and moved out of Arizona in September 2016. Can I prorate the medical expenses I had in Arizona on my state tax return?

I itemize my deductions and although I do not have enough medical for my federal itemization, I always itemize on Arizona for the medical. Since I moved out of state (clean move, not part year resident or rental property issues), am I able to claim the medical deduction for the nine months that I lived in Arizona?

Yes, as long as you were a resident when you incurred those medical expenses (no matter which state you were in at the time), I would allocate those expenses to your Arizona return.
