Will not let e file return after paying for state return.

We need additional information to assist you further.  Are you getting an error message?  Is your state return being rejected?  Please post more details in the thread and someone will reach out with the next steps.

The problem is as follows.  First I have the Order Confirmation for the CA state filing .  Order # TTDCRTC248134468, on 4/8/22 Visa 3021.

This is a circular problem that will begin and end with the screen = You're almost ready to file.

I'm experiencing the same thing but for a different state.  I paid the $25 fee to e-file with my state, got a payment confirmation email.  However I return to the You're Almost Ready to File screen, click Continue and it's as if TT doesn't recognize that I paid for e-file fee.  It's in a loop as the OP mentioned.  Help!

Are you using the Online version?  Please try the following steps which may help clear the loop you are experiencing:

• Log completely out of Turbo Tax.
• Then, clear your cache and cookies within your browser and completely close out of it.  I have included the Help Articles below if you need assistance with clearing cache or cookies.
• Re-open the browser and log back into Turbo Tax and see if this fixes the situation.
  • You can also try a different browser as well, or "incognito mode".
