If your state return says that it is started, it means that you haven't completed the preparation and filing of your return. You will need to revisit your return and complete it in order for it to show as filed on your Home page. 


Returns are usually accepted within 48 hours, but can take up to 72 hours. While your return is pending acceptance they are checking your personal information to make sure it matches their records, sometimes that can take them a little longer than the average estimated time.  With the recent changes in the tax code, it may take a little longer than what you are used to for the returns to be processed.
