We were Foster parents in the state of Georgia and adopted a foster child from another state. Do we qualify for the foster/adoption credit in Georgia?

Not sure if credit applies to adoption of any child in foster system or only if child was in Georgia foster system.

No, you're not eligible for the state credit.  Unfortunately, you can only claim the credit if the child was adopted from the Georgia Department of Human Resources foster care system.
