No, Iowa doesn’t have a deduction for installing energy efficient cooling and heating systems.  The state does have some energy efficiency credits available, including

  • Solar Energy System Tax Credit,
  • Geothermal Heat Pump Tax Credit, and 
  • Renewable energy tax credit,

but these wouldn’t appear to apply for the system you’ve installed.
