No, Iowa doesn’t have a deduction for installing energy efficient cooling and heating systems. The state does have some energy efficiency credits available, including
- Solar Energy System Tax Credit,
- Geothermal Heat Pump Tax Credit, and
- Renewable energy tax credit,
but these wouldn’t appear to apply for the system you’ve installed.
