I moved from New York City to Virginia last year in May. So I earned a portion of my income in NY and my adjusted gross income is the sum of the income I earned in two states. When filing for NY somehow TurboTax added my NY portion TWICE to my adjusted gross income thereby increasing my taxable income 25%!!! This turned my tax refund with NY into a tax bill. Where the NY portion of my income last year should have been added there was a 0 but on the federal side there was my NY portion added again (!!) and I could not change the form. What do I do?

Amend ... when something needs to be corrected you amend the return. Follow the state interview carefully to insure you don't add the income a second time on the part year NY return.
See this TurboTax FAQ for help with amending:

It is highly unlikely that the TurboTax program made the error. That's because a programming error in the New York software would have affected tens of thousands of users, which did not happen.
As @Critter-3 said, if you are sure your NY return was incorrect, you should carefully go through the amendment process and submit an amended return. If there was an error, you should come across it during the amending process. Remember that amended returns must be printed and mailed; they can't be e-filed.
