Hello, I was trying to file a federal and a state tax via TurboTax for year 2022 by using a Deluxe plan (Not a Deluxe Max plan). And when I was checking the very last breakdowns, I found a fee that was listed as 'Option to pay with your refund.' I am not quite sure what this means – did anyone have a similar experience or could someone explain what this means? On the breakdown it is already showing 'TurboTax federal' fee and 'TurboTax states (1)' fee.
One thing I am concerned is that I chose to pay the fees by deducting the amount from the refund. The other option was to pay the fees by card instantly. However, I do not think it still makes sense...
Could someone please help me?

The option to pay your TurboTax using your federal refund means you will pay an extra fee of $39 so that a third party bank will receive your refund, deduct the TT fees and send you the rest of the refund. Or....you can pay upfront using your own debit or credit card and avoid that extra fee and extra delay/extra handling of your refund.
How can I see my TurboTax fees?

What is Refund Processing Service?
And....you can never pay state tax due from a federal refund, so do not expect that. The state tax due has to be paid directly to your state.
Ah got it... Then do you know in which process I can edit my option? I've been trying to find the exact process part to change my option but I could not find it unfortunately.
