Trying to enter a missing field in worksheet. It will not accept keyboard entry??

This is in the Schedule A, Home Mortgage Interest Worksheet.  The missing field is selected but it will not take any keyboard entree

Can you clarify which field on the Home Mortgage Interest Worksheet you are trying to enter? Some fields can't be entered directly on the worksheet and need to be entered elsewhere to flow through to the worksheet.

After running fix errors, I need to fill in the original loan balance on the worksheet.  Opening the forms, the field is selected in yellow but I cannot enter the number via the keyboard.

The Home Mortgage Interest Limitation Smart Worksheet is not directly editable but entries from the other areas of the worksheet feed into it. If you are referring to the Beginning Balance on Line G3, you can change this amount by entering the Outstanding Mortgage Principal on Line 3. If you are referring to a different line, could you tell me exactly which line is giving you the error?
