I have some questions about the CT state filing of my taxes. I am not seeing the same sections as last year (ie Medical expenses, auto taxes, etc) I was able to itemize

The sections you are referring to in your question, may be found in the Federal > Deductions & Credits section of the program. Once you are in the Deductions & Credits section, you can click on the option to view all tax breaks to expand the menu. You will then be able to navigate to "Medical" and "Cars And Other Things You Own". 

Once you complete entering the information in the Federal section, at the bottom of the Deductions & Credits page you will see "Wrap Up Tax Breaks". Click on the link and TurboTax transfer the information to the State section. You can then go to the State portion of the interview and the program will guide you through state-specific deductions and credits.
