I live in NJ and work in NYC, my W-2 lists duplicate income for NY and NJ (with NJ being slightly higher). When I'm filling out Federal Taxes, which income do I use? Thx

The Federal return is based off of what is reported in Box 1.  TurboTax will push the income to the appropriate place on the return.

What you really will need to ensure is how the income reports on the New Jersey return.  On the NJ return, you will see a screen titled About Your W-2 State Wage Information.  Because of state programming requirements, TurboTax includes both income lines as part of the NJ income.  The next screen is titled Let's Confirm Your Taxable State Wages from (Employer).  Click on the NY box so that those reported wages are not included on New Jersey's return

What I am having trouble with is when I edit the details under Box 1, Boxes 15-17 is titled: State Wages and Taxes Withheld. Am I supposed to use the Federal Filing Copy of my W2 where "15 State" is left blanked followed by "Total State" under Employer's state ID no.  OR do I use the information under the NJ State Filing Copy on one line and the NY State Filing Copy on another line within TurboTax?

You use the information under the NJ copy on one line and the NY copy on another line.  The Fed return will pull the information from box 1, but your states from the corresponding box 15 information.  NJ will double up the amount though, which is why I provided the instructions in my answer so you can be aware of this.

Thanks DanielV. Regarding the information provided in both the NY Filing Copy and the NJ fFiling Copy, am I to put the exact numbers for 16 & 17 from both? For examplle, if I live in NJ and work in NY, and the NJ filing has let's say 52,000 and the NY has 50,000, are those the exact numbers I put into their corresponding lines in Turbo Tax? I read somewhere where it says, in my example above, one should enter $48,000 under NY and $2000 under NJ.
