Hi! I'm filing my New York State taxes and I'm stuck in a loop with the software forcing me to put something in for form IT-225 and not letting me finish filing even though it does not apply to me. I only have NYPFL in box 14 on W2. I've put it as "Other" classification on the pull down menu, then checkbox "paid Family Leave" on the next screen as some of the responses in other community posts said. I've also tried deleting the form through tax tools and did successfully delete it I believe as it does not show on the list of forms yet I keep getting it when I try to finish my state taxes. I also cleared my history and cache/cookie data to ensure it was not a browser thing and it's still the same (I'm using Chrome). Please help, I've been stuck in this loop for ages and I cannot do physical mail because I'm not currently in the States.

IT-225 is populating because you entered NYPFL under the NYS potion of IRC 125 (see screenshot below). This is forcing Form IT-225. Please enter $0 and the form will be removed from your return.
The IRC 125 is the amount of your cafeteria plan(s) that may be shown in Box14 of your W-2. They are pre-tax payroll deductions for certain medical and dependent care expenses. Please go back to you W-2 and enter the amount of your IRC 125.
I've entered 0 the almost ten times I've reattempted my state taxes to solve this problem but the same prompt pops up. As I said before I don't have IRC-125, just the NYPFL amount in my box 14 portion. Please help!
I have noticed a zero being input in the add/sub (225) worksheet. If you remove the zero, the needs review goes away. See the screenshot below:
To remove the 0, follow these steps:
