State will not efile, says "You haven't finished this return yet." My return is completed.

I completed my returns, and the program said it could not efile my state. I went ahead and filed my federal, and it was accepted later that day. I came back into the program, and it was saying "You haven't finished this return yet. You should finish..". I went through the return again, which still shows as completed on the steps. Still no. I deleted one form it had that was unsupported. Still no. I removed the entire state return, and restarted the whole thing. Still no. This seems like a TurboTax bug but I have no way of getting in touch with tech support. Windows Desktop download, fully updated, Deluxe version running on a Windows 10 fully updated, State is NC although I believe that is irrelevant judging by the other similar comments.

Fixed by Uninstalling and reinstalling. Hope that helps someone else out.

Thanks, I had been on that page but it was not helpful. When you linked it, I went there again, then I remembered to turn off the privacy blocking addons in my browser and it had a questionnaire to link to a phone number. 

 

My original question has not yet been answered but I will call them during business hours when they reopen.

TurboTax support is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific time, 7 days a week during tax season.  (that would be 8am to Midnight Eastern time)

I have exact same problem for Oklahoma.  Will not even let me print the return for mail-in filing.

Turbo Tax will not complete udating program due to error .  There is no K-1 form this year.
