I want to clear my state tax software of all imputs and and start over. I was trying to split income between two states and things got screwed up and now both states are wrong. My Fed Return is fine.

To delete the state in TurboTax desktop:

1. from the File menu, choose Remove State Return.
2. Select the return you want to delete and then select Remove.
3. Choose Yes to confirm.

In TurboTax Online you can delete the state return as long as you haven't paid yet. If you’ve already paid your state fees, you can’t delete your return, but you can start over by selecting Start Over next to your state return on the Status of your state returns screen.

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Select State Taxes from Tax Home.
3. On the Status of your state returns screen, select the trashcan icon next to your state, then select Delete.
