I had made a payment to Massachusetts directly for income. I can't find where I would account for that in Payments and Credits. Where to a put this in?

All estimated federal and state tax payments should be entered on your federal tax return. Then, they will carry over to your state return.

Follow the directions below to enter your state estimated tax payments.

    1. Log in and click take me to my return (unless already in).
    2. Click Tax Tools from the left-side menu.
    3. Select Tools from the drop down menu.
    4. Click Topic Search, type estimated state taxes, and click Go.

You can also get to the estimated state tax input screen by typing state estimated taxes into the search box and clicking the "jump to" link that pops up.
