State Income Tax Question

Hello.  My wife and I are Florida residents and file taxes jointly.  As Florida does not have state income tax, we do not need to file a state return.  In 2019, my wife worked for 14 days in Michigan and earned just under <$2100.  I'm assuming it's still necessary to file a Michigan return for her?  I've tried this, and I can answer all the questions correctly, but since we are filing jointly, Turbo Tax seems to think that the remainder of our income (less the $2100) also needs to be taxed in Michigan.  I somehow need to be able to only file an MI form for her, and not include my income.  But, I can't seem to find an option to let me only include her 14 days of income from her W2.

Confusing.  Hope someone can provide some guidance.  I should only need to file an MI return for her, no for income I earned in Florida.

Thanks

State Income Tax Question

Michigan will tax you on your full income, but then calculate the percentage of Michigan source income.  You will only pay that percentage of the Michigan tax calculated.
