My wife and I moved to Fl. from VA. in 2019. We changed all our vital records i. e. our voting registration/ driver Lic./ auto vehicle insurance/Purchased a new car in FL./ Filed and received Fl. Homestead Tax reduction approval, / have all been transferred to Fl. status. In addition, we have established medical and dental providers in Fl. We have not sold the Va. house and use it when we come North to visit with grand Kids and general family located in MD. We do not rent either the FL. or VA houses. The amount of time spent in FL. has been 190 days. The non Fl. time is spread between Denver CO., Frederick MD., Annapolis MD. and VA. The majority of our retirement income is received electronically via a Wells Fargo, FL. bank. A small amount is received via a VA bank which we are planning to close our account there. Those funds will be directed to the W F bank in FL. What type of Residency Status, i.e. Part Year or Nonresident Status and which State filing form should I use for tax purposes? Thanks, Bill Bender
