Why is my return still pending? (updated 3-16-21)

I filed on 2/12. Federal is still pending 8 days later and state has been rejected because federal has not been accepted. I have received no email. I called customer support yesterday and was told they could do nothing for me. Impressively terrible customer experience.

My California State tax return is still marked as 'Pending', and it was accepted on the 16th.

serafano1 is my username. I filed on 2/2/21 and my status is pending both state and federal. I have heard nothing.

Accepted 2/11 for fed 2/18 for state.

Was approved for advance and have been pending since 2/11.

My return Federal and state returns are still marked as pending. Filed on the 11th of February. I did not receive any email  within 48hrs  of this post.

I filed my return in January and my return still says pending. It said that the status changed to pending on 2/10/2021. A friend filed hers on the 2/12/2021 with H &R and her return has already been accepted

Federal Return Received by IRS on Feb 12, 2021. MA return received on Feb 16. Today (Feb 21), I checked the status is still pending. No emails.

It's now been over 130 hours since I submitted my Fed + CA and PA state returns on the evening of 2-15-21 and have received absolutely nothing from TurboTax about acceptance or rejection for either the Fed or State returns. Still says "Pending" in my Windows version of TT.  What's going on??? Seems to be a common problem. Is TT software still incomplete for filing at this date and therefore is causing delays???

You’re correct about this being a common event. A TT rep told me if a return is pending then it has been sent to the IRS and state.  I’m not sure he really knows what “pending” means.  TT reps I’ve talked to have had no suggestions on what the customer/filer should do. They are tax people.

I filed mine on 2/15/21 and Federal and State show pending still. I also paid for the online software. I have not received any information or emails from TurboTax.

It would be great to hear what's going on..
