Since you work in California, you have to pay tax on your California income as a nonresident. You'll only need to report the income you earned in California on the California return. The $27 balance due that you see is likely because you didn't have enough California tax withheld on your California income. Double check your entries on your W-2 and your California return to ensure that you've entered everything correctly.
You're also required to file a return in Arizona and pay tax on all of your income. However, California will give you a credit so that you aren't paying tax on the same income in both states. Be sure to complete the Arizona return first and then the California return so that the info needed for the credit flows to the right spot.
