Clearly you understand taxes. Did you change withholdings at work or do something to help balance you out? Are you getting a refund or just hitting zero or??

Can you reply with a little more information on what you think might be the reason?

Do I have to pay tax on the proceeds from the sale of a house. It was my primary residence, I have no other property, and I lived in it for 4 years.
