CA 540 is the main return. If you are a CA resident, the program will generate it for you. You need to go into the CA state program and answer questions.

Turbotax will not populate California Schedule 540 line 20 with tax preparation fees. Per the FTB's instructions for this line, these fees are deductible (on line 20)
