Turbo tax keeps saying "oops, it looks like we're missing some of your personal information like state and zip".

So no fix for this? Because I have done everything and it’s still telling me my email is missing.  I’m this close to filing elsewhere.

I'm also having this problem. Seems to be a high volume of people posting about this in the last few hours. Hopefully, it's a temporary issues that will be resolved. I'm checking back tomorrow.

Same issue! just spent I hour and 40 minutes on the phone with a very nice lady but has left me very frustrated and taxes not done.  Please fix TT!

Hey y’all! I know this is a super annoying bug, but I found a way around it that might help you too. I went into my Intuit account security & privacy settings and changed my email to another email address that I have. Once I confirmed that email address, the error message went away from me and I could finish filing. I hope it helps!

Im having similar issue.. but mine is saying a couple of little things missing on michigan return.  I click lwts fix and it wants me to enter the amount of rent i paid on line 6 and no of months i rented.  I enter but its not working

If you are having issues with your Michigan return, it could be caused by an issue in your federal return.  TurboTax automatically transfers data from your federal tax return to your state return. 

 

Begin by reviewing your federal return, starting with the Personal Info tab, to make sure all information is correct. Afterward, check the state section on the State Taxes tab, paying close attention to any changes made to your federal return. If necessary, complete any new sections that may have been added. 

 

Overriding information on your state return may prevent certain changes from being transferred from your federal return. In such cases, it may be necessary to delete your state return and start over.

 

If your problems persist, you might have to clean your cookies, or use a different browser.
