I am using TT Premier with one free state (Oregon) as I do every year. This year I downloaded from Amazon as opposed to getting the DVD at Costco, but this is not the problem. I am running it on a Windows PC, which was recently updated by MS push to Windows 11.
I got the Federal and State taxes filled out, no problem. It goes through the check with no errors. I got the e-filing setup - acknowledges my bank account, email. pins, etc etc.. it says ready to e-file.
When it gets to the state, I paid the $20 fee with my credit card. The purchase shows up in my Intuit account. However, in the TT program, when I hit Continue to e-file, it brings up the pay with credit card or deduct from your refund screen again, as if I didn't pay. I hit the pay with credit card again, and a pop window says the state purchase is activated but I need to Add the state when I close the pop up window. The Oregon state is already added and completed - can look in forms and see the state forms.
I spent about one hour with an Intuit phone support person and they could not figure it out. They said they had to file an internal bug ticket and did not know how long it would take to get a resolution. All I know is I can't file my taxes using the Intuit TT product. So I will give it a couple of days. If this persists, I will have no choice but to purchase a competitors product and redo my taxes with that SW, and of course I will demand a refund from Intuit .
And no, the State loop problem fix from TY2020 does not fix this.
Anyone else see this problem ?
